How To

Repairing A Damaged Drone Motor

First, identify the broken part of the motor to repair it. It is easy to do this by removing the propeller shaft from the motor shaft. Then remove any wires and take a look at the motor's inner workings. If there is something wrong with the motor, you will know which part you need to repair.

If there are no damages to the motor you don't have too much to worry about. However, if your motor looks anything like these images, then you will need some parts replaced before you can fly.

Consider a motor that has become bent and won't turn. The motor must be bent again. To hold the engine, use a pair pliers or a vice grip. After you're done, check your motor for signs of wear.

Once everything is fine, place the propeller onto the motor shaft. Your drone is now ready for flight!
