The difference in the battery pack between a drone you already own and a new one that you purchase will not be noticeable. But, over time, your battery pack will slowly become worn down. The battery pack may eventually stop working. To make sure that your drone is still functioning properly, you will need to replace its battery.

It is best to replace a battery pack with the original part. If you install a faulty pack, your drone could be damaged.

To replace a battery pack, follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect the cable from the battery connector. This will ensure your drone doesn't get any electric current. You can remove the battery connector from the drone by pulling it out.
  2. Remove the battery pack. Unscrew the battery pack from the bottom of your quadcopter. The battery pack usually comes apart into two pieces.
